    Ajrak can be traced back to the civilizations of the Indus Valley that existed around 2500 BC-1500 BC. It is a block printing technique which uses colours derived from nature - such as indigo, henna, turmeric, pomegranate, iron and mud. These printing blocks are aesthetically and seamlessly hand-carved by the craftsmen.
